Michael Quane RHA Irish, b. 1962
Michael Quane graduated from the Crawford School of Art and Design in Cork in 1987. He was elected a member of Aosdána in 1998 and a full member of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 2004. His many public works include Horses and Riders on the Mallow motorway roundabout; The Predator on the canal walk Kilkenny and Figure Talking to a Quadruped in University College Cork. He has exhibited throughout Ireland, UK, Western Europe, and the US and his work is present in private and public collections throughout.
A solo exhibition of work by Micheal Quane will take place at Solomon from 26 September - 19 October 2024
