This piece was made in a Saint Gobain Glass factory in Czech Republic in 2009. In the first of the glued glass sculptures, I asked the technicians to bond long mitred edges of glass sections to create hollow boxes. The level of expertise involved is astonishing. I stacked the ‘boxes’ into this formation to camouflage the structure for the viewer to imagine the configuration in the trajectory of the stack.
