In the right artistic hands, flowers can go beyond the beautiful to add a nice touch of the uncanny, the surreal, or even take you on a journey into the meadows of your mind. There's still time to catch it all, with gems such as Yellow Were Your Favourite (pictured) at Melissa O'Donnell's solo exhibition, Beautiful Decay, at Dublin's Solomon Fine Art until May 27th, solomonfineart.ie. O'Donnell's work is also on show, alongside the work of more than 350 artists at the 193rd RHA Annual Exhibition, which runs from May 22nd until Jult 30th. It's a bumper exhibition as this year also marks the RHA's 200th birthday. Definitely worth celebrating. rhagallery.ie
