The Solomon Gallery produces a catalogue for every show, providing an inestimable service for their artists. Sometimes there is an essay; sometimes (as with this one) there is not. But each catalogue contains fine colour reproductions and a detailed CV. Hess, who was born in Singapore in 1966 and who has lived in Europe, the USA and South Africa, moved to Ireland in 2015. Her aniaml sculptures are cast in bronze and then brightly painted.
