Solomon Fine Art is delighted to host an exhibition of new works by the popular Irish painter, Bridget Flinn. Following on from the success of her last exhibition which observed areas of transformation and development within the city, Not Far from Here celebrates the changing cityscape and coastline near the artist's Dublin home and studio.
These distinctly urban paintings feature studies of familiar sites and iconic structures spanning the Dublin docklands , Sandymount Strand and beyond. Cranes, bridges and flashes of graffiti dominate the skyline while shining glass cubes tower above old redbrick dwellings in playful juxtaposition.
